![]() ![]() This was a great domestic thriller and it won’t be the last J.T. I will say that I did feel sorry for them at times. Really though, the whole point was to dig up the wrongdoings within the characters’ past so I don’t think the reader is necessarily supposed to like the characters. I definitely don’t want to do that because this book needs to be experienced firsthand! The POV switches throughout the book but I was never lost. This really isn’t a book you can talk about because a spoiler can easily be given away. Immediately we get a glimpse into Ethan and Sutton’s marriage, which has been rocky at best. Told via both past and present perspectives of Sutton and Ethan, LIE TO ME builds up a picture of a creative. The note says that she is leaving and tells him not to try to find her. LIE TO ME is almost like two novels in one in the first half we have the classic investigation into the spouse and in the second half, other characters in play begin to reveal their true intentions. I just had to know what was going to happen.Įthan Montclair wakes up one morning to find an empty house and a short note from his wife. ![]() I was glued to the pages from the beginning to the end. ![]() I loved this book! It had my full attention from page one. ![]()
